Yesterday, Up2Us and the Fords Creek Landcare Group launched the first of their monthly volunteer mornings focused on caring for Fords Creek in the Mansfield Botanic Gardens.
Local landholders are invited to join the Upper Broken Landcare Group for an informative and practical Willow Control Workshop to be held at Gonzaga Reserve. The event will run from 10:00am to 1:00pm and aims to equip landholders with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage willows along their waterways.

Last week we were thrilled to welcome Maggie, a work experience student and aspiring environmental leader, to Up2Us Landcare Alliance.
Landholders in the Mansfield Shire now have the opportunity to complete essential chemical training without the hassle of travelling long distances or paying full price. Thanks to generous subsidies, two practical courses are being offered locally for just $50 per person – a huge saving from the usual $380 fee.
